Electrothermal has a comprehensive range of single & multi-position Mantles, and Controllers. The Mantles range from the Standard cool-to-touch vented case EM, CMU and EME Products with element temperatures between ambient and 450 degC, to the higher temperature CMUH, MM & MQ Products with element temperatures up to 800 degC, to the Electric Bunsen with its conical shaped heating element focussing its heat energy, ideal for heating test tubes and crucibles.
The Standard EM Mantle has Basic Unearthed options through, Basic and Earthed /E, Controlled /C, Spill-Proof EMX, V-Shaped EMV, Heating and Stirring EMA with single or bi-directional stirring options. Capacities for round-bottomed flasks ranging from 50ml up to 2,000ml, plus Funnel options. Replacement heater cartridges are available.
The Metal Case Uncontrolled CMU offers an Inexpensive Mantle range with standard CMU and higher temperature CMUH options. Capacities for flasks ranging from 50ml to 22 Litres, and a range of External Controller options. We also have a Controlled CMU/C range of Products with inbuilt Energy Controllers.
The EME Extraction Heaters, with a choice of three or six recesses, built in solid-state energy controllers, choice of heater only or heater/stirrer combination. Capacities for flasks ranging from 100ml to 1,000ml. To Heat a number of round bottom flasks simultaneously (for extractions, distillations, and digestions).
All Extraction Mantles have individual energy regulator with indicator light for each heater cartridge, allowing liquids with different boiling points to be heated alongside each other. The robust construction permits continuous operation of the units as required by routine extraction tests.
MM & MQ Micro/Macro Kjeldahl HeatingMantles used in deternining the Nitrogen content of organic and inorganic substances - three main steps of Digestion, Distillation and Titration. Volume sizes from 8 to 800ml, Temperatures to 550 degC or 800 degC.
BA Electric Bunsen, a safer alternative to the gas bunsen burner.The conical shaped heating cartridge directs and focusses the radiat heat towards the top of the ceramic former, providing a concentrated heat source ideal for heating test-tubes, crucibles, small flasks and beakers.
MC Controllers, including the MC242 Analog Energy Controller and the Digital MC810B with Temperature Feedback Control.
FM110 Flow Monitor, used to monitor the flow of aqueous liquids. If the flow reduces significantly, the unit provides visual and audible warning, and the electrical power of equipment under control will be disconnected.
