Product description:

  • The FM110 Flow Monitor is used to monitor the flow of aqueous liquids. If the liquid flow reduces significantly for a period of approximately 10 seconds a red LED indicator will light and an audible alarm will sound. At the same time the electrical power to the equipment under control will be disconnected.
    A switch on the rear of the FM110 can be set to enable power to be reconnected automatically or manually to the equipment being controlled.
    The flow sensor is made to suit 8mm bore pipe and comprises a turbine on sapphire bearings with a hall effect switch activated by magnets on the turbine.

Operation:

  • The FM110 is normally supplied with a standard sensor for flow rates 0.5 - 15 litres/min.
    Lower flow rates of 0.05 to 0.5 litres/min can be monitored by selecting the FM110/1 Product

Safety:

  • Protects the laboratory from potential flow line breakage when running coolant for reflux or other applications. Detects the absence of flow and shuts down equipment safetly.
