STEM introduces the Omni Reacto Station with a new line of Interchangeable Reaction Blocks to suit your Applications.

• Series 6000 Six Place Synthesis System, 6 x 50ml, 6 x 100ml, or 6 x 250ml Vessels

With its Modular Design, one base unit can accommodate sample volumes from 2ml to 1000ml.
All heating blocks, glassware, and reflux heads are interchangeable and the footprint is so compact
that you can place the unit into any fume hood or onto any bench space. Omni Cooling Plugs are
available for both the 1000 and 6000 series Reaction Blocks. The removable Cooling Plugs can
be connected to a recirculating liquid chiller, providing controlled cooling.

- Omni Controller, used to control heating and stirring. Temparature range from ambient to 220degC, with the ability to cool down to -30degC with the aid of a proprietary re-circulating chiller system. The stirring speed is from 250 to 800rpm.

- Omni Heater Cartridge, available in seven sizes, ranging from 2ml to 1 Litre. The specially designed encased cartridge ensures tight temperature uniformity across the reaction block. The unique patented air flow design draws the air through ventilation slots in the base of the cartridge, up inside the case walls, and through ventillation slots beneath and around the rim of the case ensuring a low, cool outer case temperature - allowing it to be safe to the touch even during operation.

- Omni Cooling Plug, patented unique liquid cooling plug allows cooling down to -30degC, greatly expanding the type of chemistry you can perform with this equipment. The cooling plug is simple use: insert the cooling plug into the reaction block, attach cooling lines via quick release inlet/outlet connectors and supply the recirculating system. The cooling plug can be inserted & removed without disturbing any glassware.

- Omni Reaction Vessels, five glassware packages (standard, baffled, crystallization, pressurized and thermo-couple pocketed) are available for the 50ml, 100ml and 250ml Omni Reacto Station, twin port adaptors are available for easy addition of solids, liquids and gas - ideal for inert chemistry. Six glassware packages (standard, Dean Stark, thermocouple pocketed, pressurized, small vol crystallization, larger vol crystallization) are available with the Series 10000 ten place synthesis unit. The valved PTFE caps allow for individual control of the reaction vessels.

- Omni Reflux Head, efficient condensing and refluxing is provided through the use of a liquid cooled aluminium reflux head and integral gas/vacuum manifold. Recirculating coolant is introduced through inlet/outlet ports with quick release fitting. Individual reaction positions are numbered for ease of tube and sample identification. A top-side gas manifold with inlet & individual outlets combined with gas-tight PTFE caps allows for a vacuum to be pulled or inert gas addition.
